The most symbolic androgyny I can think of would be the pregnant man, who has given birth. A symbol of our present state of all-encompassing hybridizing and confusion. Hi, Peter.

Will there be posters made of these originals? I certainly hope so. Extraordinary.

Peter, this was quite a delight to read. You really captivated what Scott was channeling through his oil. Very inspiring as I myself also frequently think of these figures. Thank you

Thanks for writing about this.I bought 2 one foot high female figures made of metal at a thrift store..Their hair sticks out, their faces look skyward, and they are reaching skyward..I was trying to find the names of Earth Goddesses to give them..I decided on Hilda(my Grandmother) and Aini(my Finnish aunt),both no longer living and under appreciated by me while alive. Also at the base of one of my trees in a natural shrine I put the Catholic Mary, since I had read about her history and I wanted to think about this figure. These figures connect me to a different place/state of mind…Thanks for the encouragement that it is not a crazy thing to do..Jean
