Some one wants to blame the Christians forgetting that the Chinese and those who live in India are the worse environmentalist in the world. It is time to stop hating America first.
The issue is massive industrialization, and rampant population growth and the fact that we refuse - all of us -to live in sustainable ways. Hiding in New York or any large city to avoid teh heart bereak is part of the problem.
In the end the earth prevails and moves on. It has cycled before and will cycle again - only it will no longer be our earth, our hearth, our home.
And yes, having read most of Ehrlich’s published writings she does appear clinically depressed but that does not dismiss her thoughts and insights.
