It’s difficult to add words to something as beautifully crafted as appears in “World at Dawn”.  We’ve lived in community, in the midst of thousands of acres of diverse northern Minnesota forest, and with or without electricity and a life of great physical activity, when the sun goes down we head for the nest and savory the dawning.  Re-adjusting to the earth cycle’s and living the mystery is what it’s all about for our group.  It is a honor to submit my humble comment to such great sensivity.

Truly lyrical and lyrically true.  I found myself slowing down as I read, circling around words and phrases, savoring them in agreement or as a new way of seeing.  So overwhelmingly visual this is, I began to wonder how someone blind perceives the dawn, the new beginning each day gives.  No doubt the other senses take over and become richer, but is there still an idea, at least, of light or brightness permeating the rise of a new day?

I can almost see the visions of what she speaks. But there are so many who can’t, because they are buried in our cities, or have lived in a world of artifacts instead of in the world, or are too busy surviving to notice the patterns of light and dark. This is very beautiful; I hope that we can devise a way so that not only could everyone read this word-music, but have it speak for them as it does for me.

The world at dawn is a wonderful metaphor for what i am working on in my artwork.  however i am stuck and wonder if anyone can help.  I am thinking about the evolution of the atmosphere, the hydrosphere and the mineralization of the earth.  I need to know what colors there would have been in the “dawn of the earth”. Any thoughts out there?

It looks like the creation of the world. The words, sentences, paragraphs are united in mystical manner. All the five senses seem to be awakened when reading. The world is wonderful when describes by our various and one thought.
