Summary: In his project "Draw Me a Tree," featured in the January/February 2012 issue of Orion, Dan Shepherd captures people's connection to place by asking them to draw a tree of some significance to them. He then creates a double exposure, layering photos of their drawings over photos of the trees themselves.
