David Gessner
David Gessner is the author of six books of literary nonfiction, most recently Soaring with Fidel, and won the John Burroughs Award for his Orion essay “Learning to Surf.” He teaches at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is editor of the journal Ecotone.
