Remembering Smell, by Bonnie Blodgett
I heard and saw quite a few reviews of this book—my attention was alerted when I heard the name of the “cold spray” that caused the author to lose her sense of smell, since one member of my household is a devoted user of the same spray.
Bill Bryson said, “This is a marvelous and deeply affecting book. I was gripped from the first page.”
One more bit of evidence about how environmental/health damage is so often a side effect of marketing.
