Camille T. Dungy is the author of essay collections Soil: The Story of a Black Mother’s Garden and Guidebook to Relative Strangers, as well as four poetry collections, most recently Trophic Cascade. She has edited three anthologies, including Black Nature. Dungy is a distinguished professor at Colorado State University. Dungy is also Orion’s poetry editor.
