Whitehall is the oldest cooperative house in Texas, and one of the oldest in the country. I landed here while traveling waywardly across the country looking for a home. Just two blocks east of what was to become that home, my truck was totaled in what should have been a catastrophic accident. When it happened i laughed, I survived, and a psychic I met on the scene told me in no uncertain terms that I was to stay here in Austin. I did.
